Dyslexia and Assistive Technology
This presentation will look at how people with dyslexia can use technology, including Windows laptops, Chromebooks, iPads / iPhones, smart phones and tablets to make it easier for them to engage with text.
To help with reading, we will look at:
- Changing the appearance of text on the display
- Text to Speech software and apps
- Reading Pens
- Getting accessible text
To help with writing, we'll look at:
- Speech recognition
- Word prediction
- Spellcheckers / Grammar checkers
