Sir Jackie urges Council leaders to prioritise action on dyslexia
Dyslexia Scotland's President and former racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart gave a powerful address to Scotland's local authority leaders about dyslexia at CoSLA's "Change, Challenge and Opportunity" conference in St Andrews on 4th March.
The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA) is the representative voice of Scottish local government - Sir Jackie urged delegates to invest in early intervention for our dyslexic young people now rather than pay the costs later. He spoke about his own experience of dyslexia and the importance of 'preventive rather than corrective' support.
