About this Event

We are delighted to announce that award winning author, Elizabeth Wein, will be coming to speak to Dyslexia Scotland West Lothian about her writing, which includes two dyslexia friendly novels, Firebird and White Eagles, both published by Barrington Stoke. There will also be a prize draw to give away some dyslexia friendly books to our lucky prize-winners. This talk is aimed at young people aged between 10 and 14 , but everyone is welcome to come along.

This visit has been funded by the Scottish Book Trust as part of the Book Week Scotland celebrations. Working with a wide range of partners, Scottish Book Trust – the national charity changing lives through reading and writing – will deliver events and activities across the country during Book WeekScotland 2019, which runs from 18 November to 24 November, linked to this year’s theme of Conversation. Now in its eighth year,Book Week Scotland was initiated by the Scottish Government and is funded annually by Creative Scotland.
