The 2022 Scottish Dyslexia Education Conference, led by Dyslexia Scotland, will be held on Saturday 1 October.
The popular conference returns for its third year as an online event.
Conference organiser and Dyslexia Scotland Volunteers Manager Helen Fleming said: "We are delighted to be able to offer another dyslexia education conference for Scottish teachers this year. We’ve opted for an online event again following feedback that teachers appreciated the virtual set up which allowed them to access professional learning without the burden of travel. This event also responds to issues the sector is facing in supporting dyslexia in a digital world, and to the recent release of the Scottish working definition of dyscalculia.”
Dyslexia Scotland's education conference is a flagship service of the charity, developed and delivered in collaboration with other key strategic education partners. The event provides high quality professional learning that enables teachers to deliver on Scotland's ambition for an inclusive education system that allows every child and young person to gain as much as possible from the opportunities which Curriculum for Excellence provides.
Dyslexia Scotland will make announcements about ticket sales, the conference programme, speakers and workshops throughout the spring and summer. Follow Dyslexia Scotland and The Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit social media for further updates.
