Dyslexia Scotland Hebrides is delighted to have been chosen as one of the Co-op's charities to receive funding through their Local Community Fund.

The scheme, which runs throughout 2020, enables Co-op members to choose a local cause to support and 1% of what members spend on selected Co-op branded products and services goes to support local causes. You can choose a local cause that you want your 1% to support.

Pat Macaskill, Branch Chair, said: ‘We are so pleased to have been picked as a new ‘local cause’ in Lewis, this funding really will help us do more for the 1 in 10 children and adults impacted by dyslexia in Lewis. This funding really will make such a difference to the support that we’re able to give."

Dyslexia Scotland Hebrides’ cause will appear in Co-op stores on MacAulay Road and Cromwell Street.

Please would you choose Dyslexia Scotland Hebrides as your local cause?

More funding will allow the branch to plan some great events for 2020 which will be open to everyone with an interest.
